Delicious Chicken Recipes - How to Make Crispy Chicken Breasts That Taste Great

!±8± Delicious Chicken Recipes - How to Make Crispy Chicken Breasts That Taste Great

Today we're going to go over a fantastic recipe I've been using for a few years now, and it is something that I've taught dozens of people, especially those who are KFC lovers.

It is a recipe for crunchy chicken breasts, but obviously they are healthy, made with lean white meat and oats.

Here is what you will need:

1. Chicken breasts - thaw the breasts and make sure they are completely thawed before cooking. I like to use 1 breast per person, so adjust this accordingly to the number of people you are cooking for.

2. 1/2 cup of plain oats - the type of oats you used doesn't matter, but it should be regular old fashioned oats

3. 1 tablespoon of salt (low-sodium salt is best)

4. 2 egg whites

5. Pam calorie-free butter flavored spray

Steps to making the chicken:

1. Take your strips and season them with a pinch of salt, rubbed all around. If you like a little kick to your chicken, add a pinch of some chili powder or some other hot spice. You can season according to your likings.

2. Dip the piece of chicken into the egg white, make sure it is completely covered in egg white

3. Roll the chicken breast piece in the bowl of oats until it is completely

4. Place the chicken on a tray that is covered with foil.

5. Once all the pieces are lined up, give them a once-over spray with your calorie-free Pam spray. This will help make the oats crispy and give it more crunch.

6. Heat the oven to 400F

7. Place the chicken in for 9 minutes, then turn all the pieces around and cook for another 9 minutes.

8. The oats will turn a nice golden-brown when they are ready. I highly recommend you cut one piece to ensure a white consistency throughout the chicken.

That's it!

What you now have is a healthy alternative to high-fat KFC chicken, or any other type of friend chicken for that matter. Add some side veggies or some butter-free mashed potatoes and you are ready to eat.

4 strips will yield approximately 200 calories with a high protein content, a moderate complex carbohydrate content, and very little fat.

As a way of adjusting the taste of the chicken to your personal preferences, you can add almost any type of spice or rub to the chicken, as long as it complements the crunchy texture of the chicken.

The Colon Cleanse Weight Loss

!±8± The Colon Cleanse Weight Loss

A colon cleanse weight loss may be one of the healthiest ways to lose weight. The diet is naturally healthy and leaves out "fake foods" such as artificial sweeteners, fake fats or unnatural flavors as an attempt to enhance the food. And supplements used can fill in nutritional gaps that most of us have but are unaware of.

Instead, the healthy colon cleanse weight loss diet may help you learn how to eat naturally, which is healthier for your body. The diet mainly includes fresh, organic fruits and vegetables. Fresh, lean protein is encouraged and may even include vegetarian proteins, allowing you to find new, healthy recipes. In addition, fresh whole grains are eaten; a benefit since most of us eat highly processed grains that may contain hidden sugars and other compounds that may sabotage weight loss.

Fruits and vegetables should be the staple of your detox diet and program. It is a fact that most of us do not get the amount of fresh produce that we should eat every day. This may be due to lack of knowledge of because our taste buds are conditioned to eating processed foods.

Eating more fresh produce can re-train your body to enjoy these healthier types of foods. In addition, eating fresh vegetables is one of the most effective ways to raise metabolism. As you eat more salads and fresh veggies, your digestion naturally revs and is more capable of digesting proteins and grains. Fruit naturally cleanses your body and provides plenty of nutrition that maintains energy.

Unprocessed proteins are healthier for your body. They will be less likely to have hidden ingredients like metabolism slowing sugars or other compounds used in preserving and processing. A colon cleanse weight loss program encourages healthier proteins in the form of fresh, organic meats in limited quantities. Other proteins are encouraged such as beans, legumes, sprouts and nuts, allowing dieters to explore other protein possibilities to add to their healthy food choices.

This is important to our health in an industrialized society. It is well known that certain meats are more likely to cause cancers among other diseases. In fact, according to a study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine, diets that are rich in red and processed meats may not only be unhealthy, but deadly.

Whole grains are also encouraged during a weight loss cleanse program. This is because refined or processed grains, like certain cereals and breads, are stripped of nutrients and fiber. Fiber is the basis of any cleanse program, therefor whole, unprocessed grains are encouraged.

When deciding on which grains to use, look for uncooked grains that do not include any "flavorings" or preservatives. Try wild rice, amaranth, sprouted and organic breads, and other whole grains. Look for recipes in healthy recipe books to learn how to make these types of unprocessed foods delicious if you have never cooked with them before.

It is a fact that even as many Americans are over-weight, many of us also suffer from malnutrition. Having excess weight does not mean one has excess nutrition. Nutritional supplements used during a colon cleanse weight loss may help to fill in nutritional deficits. This may be very important while one is losing weight to help maintain energy and keep a happier mood while lessening stress.

Some supplements that may be included in your cleanse program are fiber, essential fatty acids, green superfoods, and even capsaicin or cayenne to help burn unhealthy fat cells. Each of these can help nourish your body, replace missing nutrients and even accelerate weight loss.

Inform yourself and seek out the various colon cleanse weight loss programs available. The best methods will include a healthy detox diet, fiber, and other ingredients that are nutritionally sound. Try to avoid methods that just don't make sense and stick with those that explain why they work. And, of course, if you take medications, check with your doctor before taking any supplements, change in diet or exercise.

1 pound sirloin steak, cubed

Salt and pepper to taste

1 (14 oz.) can beef broth

3 large carrots, cubed

1 cup frozen green peas, thawed

3 tablespoons cornstarch

1/3 cup water

2 (9-inch) refrigerator pie crusts

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a saucepan over medium high heat, brown the pieces of meat on all sides. Pour in enough water to almost cover the meat. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. When the carrots and potatoes are done, transfer to a large mixing bowl and combine with the beef. Reserve the liquid in the saucepan. Mix the peas in with the vegetables and beef.

Dissolve the cornstarch in 1/3 cup of water and pour this into the reserved beef broth. Bring to a simmer while stirring constantly; reduce heat. Cook for 5 minutes.

Line a 9-inch pie plate with one of the pie shells following package directions. Spoon the beef mixture into the pie crust. Pour the gravy on top. Cover with remaining pie crust.

Bake for 25 minutes, or until crust is golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Choosing a Ribeye Steak Marinade Recipe

!±8± Choosing a Ribeye Steak Marinade Recipe

One of the best things about marinated steak recipes is that you can choose from literally hundreds of different recipes and even adapt those to your taste. Also, you can mix and match your steaks with the marinades. There are some marinades that are better for certain cuts of steak though.

If you are using a cheap, tough cut of steak you might want to use a marinade with plenty of citrus juice in it, or similar, because this will tenderize the steak. If you are using such a marinade on a more tender cut of steak you will need to be careful not to leave the marinade on for too long because it can make the meat mushy.

Types of Marinated Steak Recipes

There are various types of marinated steak recipes you can choose from. What about a smoky barbecue flavored marinade, a spicy international marinade with chilies or a tangy citrus based one?

The best way to choose which marinade recipe to use is to compare a few different ones. Think about what you are going to be serving alongside the steak. If you are serving plain rice, you might want to make something that can be boiled after marinating and used as a sauce, so you can ladle some of the hot marinade on to the rice as well. If you are serving a tasty side dish with the beef, a simpler marinade recipe might be more suitable so you do not have a flavor clash.

Marinating Ribeye Steak

You might like to use a ribeye steak marinade recipe if you have some ribeye steaks for dinner. Ribeye steak is really juicy and delicious and using a marinade on it can make it really mouthwatering, extra tender and extremely flavorful.

This cut is from the beef rib and the meat is fattier, or more marbled, than a lot of other cuts of beef. This marbling adds to the natural flavor and juiciness. You can get bone-in ribeye steaks and boneless ones, although technically bone-in ribeye steak is a rib steak not a ribeye.

Because this type of steak is naturally juicy, it is suited to dry cooking methods and does not need to be basted as it cooks. The marbling melts as the meat cooks and juices are released, keeping it succulent and stopping it from drying out on the grill. A marinade for ribeye steak is about giving gentle flavor rather than being necessary to tenderize the meat or overpowering the flavor of the beef.

Ribeye is really tasty as it is so a marinade for ribeye steak should give a hint of flavor rather than anything too strong. Save the strong flavored, tenderizing marinades for cheaper beef cuts.

The best way to cook a ribeye steak is on the grill but you could fry or broil it if you wanted to. Marinate the meat for a couple of hours. That is enough to give it a good flavor without having a negative impact on the meat texture.
